Website privacy policy

Effective date: 6 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Benipol Limited processes when you visit this website or contact us by email, why we process it and what rights you have.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers this corporate website only. It does not cover the mobile applications that Benipol Limited develops. Each application has its own privacy policy, which you can find in the application or on its store listing.

2. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data processed through this website is Benipol Limited, a company registered in Cyprus, with its registered office at 34 Falirou, 1st Floor, Office 123, 2066 Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus.

For any privacy question, write to requests@benipol.com.

3. What data we process and why

3.1 Technical data when you visit the website

When you open a page, your browser sends certain technical information to the web server that hosts this site. The server records it in standard access logs:

  • your IP address;
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the page or file requested and the response status;
  • your browser type and operating system, as reported by your browser (the “user agent”);
  • the referring page, if your browser sends it.

Why: to deliver the website to you, keep it secure, and diagnose faults or misuse.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and working website. We do not use this data to identify you or to build a profile of you.

3.2 Emails you send us

This website has no contact form. If you choose to email us using an address shown on the site, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write in your message and any attachments.

Why: to read and reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Where your message relates to a contract with us, or to steps you ask us to take before entering one, we process it to perform or prepare that contract.

Please do not send us more personal information than your enquiry needs.

4. What this website does not do

  • It does not set cookies or use similar technologies such as local storage, so there is no cookie banner.
  • It does not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts, and runs no JavaScript.
  • It does not load fonts, scripts or other resources from third-party servers. All files are served from our own hosting.
  • It has no user accounts, forms, newsletter sign-up or online payments.
  • We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

If any of this changes, we will update this policy before the change takes effect.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only where necessary, with:

  • Our hosting provider, which operates the servers that deliver this website and keeps the access logs described above: Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Luxembourg), with data stored in the United States.
  • Our email provider, which stores and delivers email sent to us: Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland).
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers or accountants, where needed to handle a matter you have raised.
  • Public authorities, such as courts or regulators, where the law requires it or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • A successor business, if Benipol Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case your data will remain protected by this policy or an equivalent one.

Our service providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

6. International transfers

Depending on where our providers operate, your data may be processed outside the country in which you are located. Where data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK equivalent.

7. How long we keep data

  • Server access logs: 30 days, after which they are deleted, unless we need a specific record longer to investigate a security incident.
  • Email correspondence: up to 3 years, unless we need it longer to meet a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your data, where there is no longer a reason to keep it;
  • restrict or object to our processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive data you provided to us in a portable format, where applicable;
  • complain to a data protection authority. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can contact the authority where you live or work. Our lead authority, where applicable: Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (Cyprus).

Residents of some US states have similar rights under state law, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

To make a request, email requests@benipol.com. We may ask for information to confirm your identity, and will use it only for that purpose. We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law. Access logs do not contain your name, so to help us find records relating to you, please tell us the approximate date and time of your visit and the IP address you used.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults seeking information about Benipol Limited. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
